Gestalt Community Schools in Memphis, TN is seeking a Dean to join the school-based leadership team. You will work with the principal to implement and improve instructional programs, coach teachers, and guide the school’s attainment of standards.

The role emphasizes PLCs, Common Core alignment, trainer for staff, and data-driven decision making. Tennessee License required, 4+ years teaching; salary range $65,000–$85,000 BOE.

Formación

• Tennessee teaching and/or admin license required; 4+ years of Level 4-5 teaching with gap-closure competency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience presenting to and coaching adult teachers.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate teacher understanding and implementation of standards through PLCs.
• Support implementation of GLOE and Curriculum Frameworks via training and feedback.
• Coach teachers using collaborative strategies to gradually share responsibilities.
• Analyze classroom practice with data and observations to guide improvements.
• Provide direct feedback to teachers and deliver training at professional development meetings.
