Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing required; doctoral degree in nursing or health-related field required for the Dean.
• Minimum five years of practice as a Registered Nurse, with at least two years as a faculty member in a professional nursing education program.
• Minimum of one year of administrative or management experience.
• Competent in personal computer applications: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing program.
• Facilitate responsiveness of the program to community and health care system needs and foster a collegial culture for students, faculty, and staff.
• Represent the program to College/Campus administration, regulatory and accreditation bodies, Education Affiliates Nursing Division, and local advisory committees.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program quality and compliance.
