Job summary

The Bureau of Indian Education's Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Educational Administrator to lead the Academic Department. You will chair faculty committees, guide the development of instructional materials, assess media, and help evaluate new technologies and delivery platforms to improve instructional programs

Qualifications

• Master's degree in subject matter field appropriate to the position.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 level.
• Experience leading faculty and staff in a college/university environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for faculty and staff within the Academic Department.
• Educator administrator performing full range of duties of a college program.
• Develop goals aligned with the College's mission and outcomes.
• Lead faculty committees on teaching and materials development.
• Advise faculty on instructional materials and media evaluation.
• Evaluate technologies and delivery platforms to enhance instructional programs.
