Qualifications

Master’s degree is required.
One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience related to the administrator assignment.

Experience leading workforce and economic development initiatives in higher education, government, industry, workforce development organizations, or economic development agencies.
Knowledge of career education, apprenticeship programs, work-based learning, CPL, and workforce funding programs.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the college’s economic and workforce development strategy and initiatives.
Lead identification, evaluation, development, and institutionalization of workforce-aligned educational programs and pathways with faculty and leadership.
Oversee budgets, governance, compliance, and performance reporting for workforce and economic development programs.
Supervise and evaluate assigned faculty, staff, and administrators; recruit and assign personnel as needed.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate division offerings to meet student, program, and community needs.
