Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience building and executing a studentenrollment strategy, including strategic planning and budget management.
• Demonstrated track record of results meeting enrollment targets for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Demonstrated expertise with admissions CRM platforms, data analytics, and admissions funnel management.
• Ability to communicate persuasively with students, families, colleagues, and senior leadership.
• Ability to lead change and innovation in a complex, fast-moving enrollment environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with academic leadership, institutional research, marketing, and student affairs.
• Must currently possess an active, valid motor vehicle operator’s license per Mason’s Vehicle Use Policy 1411.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary, data-informed leadership for undergraduate and graduate admissions aligned with enrollment goals.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment and yield strategy across programs and populations.
• Lead admissions policy, application review standards, and decision processes.
• Oversee CRM adoption, reporting, and analytics to guide enrollment and yield.
• Direct admissions operations, including processing, communications, and applicant experience.
• Collaborate with financial aid, marketing, registrar, and IT to integrate systems and improve operations.
• Build a high-performing, service-oriented admissions team and manage resources with fiscal discipline.
• Represent George Mason Admissions to external partners and internal stakeholders.
