Job summary

Texas A&M International University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library. Qualifications

• Master's in Library Science (or equivalent) from an ALA-accredited program.
• Progressive administrative experience in an academic library setting.
• Experience leading library programs and services.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for libraries.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for the Killam Library and its team of staff and student workers.
• Lead personnel management, staffing, performance, and professional development.
• Oversee an annual budget and all library operations including facilities, tech, and services.
• Drive strategic planning, assessment, and reporting to support student success and research.
• Foster collaborations and advocate for open educational resources and digital access.
