Job summary

Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, invites applications for the Dean of the College/School. This full-time, 12-month position combines senior academic administration with faculty leadership in curriculum development, accreditation, and strategic planning.

The Dean leads curricular initiatives, oversees budget and resources, mentors faculty, and upholds Liberty’s Christian mission. Travel may be required; strong research, teaching, and data-informed decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in Mathematics, English, Physics, History, Modern Languages, FACS, INDS, or related field.
• Experience teaching and program development is valued.
• Online and residential teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the College/School and curricular initiatives.
• Oversee accreditation processes and program evaluation.
• Manage fiscal resources and the department budget.
• Support faculty development, mentorship, and student success.
