The Valley College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a visionary Dean and Chief Academic Officer to lead its academic, accreditation, faculty, and student affairs functions in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires steering curriculum design and clinical education to meet AOCA-COCA standards and drive educational excellence.

Located in Phoenix, The Valley COM was established to expand osteopathic medical education and address regional workforce needs.

Qualifications

• DO degree from a COCA-accredited college.
• Unrestricted medical license at some time in career.
• AOA and/or ABMS board certification at some time in career.
• At least five years of proven experience in academic leadership with budget management authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all academic, accreditation, faculty, student affairs, and clinical education functions.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision for osteopathic medical education.
• Lead accreditation milestones, growth, and program implementation while ensuring educational excellence.
