Job summary

Kearney & Company is seeking a DEAMS Deployment and Training Subject Matter Expert to support worldwide deployment, sustainment, and operations of DEAMS. The role involves briefing deploying bases, coordinating training, and providing strategic guidance to program staff.

The candidate must have 3.5+ years in AF funds control/accounting roles, and be able to travel up to 50% and obtain/maintain a U.S. secret security clearance. Location is San Antonio, TX, with benefits and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.5 years experience in AF funds/finance roles.
• Experience in AF Funds Control, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, GPC, or DFAS.
• Ability to analyze financial data using MS Excel/Access and PivotTables.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for deployment/sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial DEAMS FMO representative to deploying bases and briefing on DEAMS deployment.
• Assist with base Site Profile distribution and collection of end user and financial data.
• Provide detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements.
• Provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program staff.
• Support DEAMS end users in registering and in training needs.
• Facilitate user setup and assignment of system roles and responsibilities.
• Coordinate training activities with bases.
• Manage deployment/cutover task checklists.
• Provide targeted assistance using DEAMS metrics and data analysis.
• Provide ad hoc training via phone, video conference, or on-site.
