Job description

Dealership Accelerator

is hiring Dealership Performance Managers across the United States.

We help dealerships respond to every lead, follow up relentlessly, book more appointments, and work the opportunities already sitting in their CRM. More than 300 rooftops. Bootstrapped. Profitable.

This role is for someone who has worked inside a dealership and knows how a floor behaves when the pressure is on.

What the job is

You fly or drive into a dealership and spend the day onsite launching the team on our system.

The setup is finished before you land. We turn on the old lead campaign 24 hours ahead of you, so the store already has live conversations and appointments on the board when you walk in. You teach off their own screen, not a slide deck.

You run one session with the whole floor, then you go person by person. Managers, BDC, internet, sales. You sit with the rep who does not want to make the call, show him the text where the customer asked to be called, and stay there while he dials.

Before you leave, you identify the person in that building who will run this every day after you are gone, and you make sure they are set up to do it.

What you own after the launch

Every store you launch stays on your list.

This is not a class you run once. You own whether that dealership is still a client a year later. On your days off the road you are reviewing their numbers, finding who has stopped following the process, and calling the salesperson you sat beside last month. They know you, so they take the call.

Travel

This is a travel first role.

Depending on your level you will deliver 8 to 12 onsite launches a month, which means 2 to 4 nights on the road most weeks. Senior managers run auto groups and multi location deals, stacking several launches into one trip.

If regular travel does not fit your life right now, this is the wrong role. We would rather you pass than find out in month six.

Everything is covered. Flights, hotels, meals, rental cars, rideshare, parking, baggage, and mileage. You will never pay out of pocket to do this job.

Requirements

Three or more years working inside a dealership. Sales, desk, BDC, internet, or F&I.

Fluency in how a store actually runs. PVR, front and back gross, and how new and used compete for the same deal. When a GM tells you he sells cars and is not a tech guy, you need an answer ready that keeps him in the room.

A record of top performance over multiple years, not one strong year. We check references and ask where you ranked and for how long.

Comfort with software. You do not need to be technical. You do need to open a laptop in front of six skeptical salespeople, pull up live data, and answer questions on the spot. When something comes up that you have not seen, you find the answer.

The judgment to work alone with our name and our clients in front of you. You control your own schedule, bookings, and expenses.

You live within 45 to 90 minutes of a major airport.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred, but not required

History of leadership within dealership operations. Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, BDC Manager, or F&I Manager.

Experience training or coaching a team.

Experience traveling for work. If you have not traveled for a job but you have sold at a high level and the schedule fits you, tell us why it works.

Compensation

Base salary, plus pay for every launch you complete, plus an annual quality bonus.

Target earnings run from $118,000 for a new Associate Dealership Performance Manager to $238,000 and up at the Senior level running auto groups. Most people we hire start at the Dealership Performance Manager band, with a target of $173,600.

Earnings move with launch volume, which you control. Promotion is based on completed launches and client scores, not time in seat.

Travel is paid separately and is not included in those numbers.

If you have sold software to dealerships but never worked inside one, this is likely not the right role.
