Job summary

North Central Ford in Richardson, TX is hiring a Lubrication Technician to perform lubrication services quickly and thoroughly in coordination with the Production Foreman.

You will inspect the car for issues (battery, lights, tires) and refer needed repairs to the Service Advisor, keep the vehicle clean, and ensure lifts and equipment operate correctly. • Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• ASE Certification and/or automotive tech certificate.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.

Job Description

The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his responsibilities through coordination with the Production Foreman.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• ASE Certification and/or automotive tech certificate.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment
• Ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates.
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook.

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Applicantmust be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test and credit report.
