This role leads office staff, enforces policy compliance, and coordinates with the Controller and General Manager to maintain strong financial controls.

The ideal candidate will have an associate or bachelor’s degree with related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to train and supervise personnel in a dealership

Qualifications

• Experience hiring and supervising office personnel
• Responsible for monthly financial statements per dealership guidelines
• Ensures tax reports, deposits, and returns are accurate and timely
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local requirements governing the business
• Follows attendance, timekeeping and confidentiality policies

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and supervises office personnel
• Analyzes and improves office operations and procedures
• Assists with monthly financial statements and close
• Reconciles accounts and reviews tax reports
• Prepares reports for management and supports audits
• Cross-trains to substitute for other accounting positions
• Ensures accuracy of manufacturer accounts and warranty claims
