Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive dealership accounting duties.
• Previous experience in a Controller role preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with dealership management and executive leadership.
• Train current Controller, staff accountants, and admin staff.
• Act as Controller as needed.
• Analyze and fix DMS issues.
• Analyze parts department, inventory, sales, etc.
• Perform gross reconciliations.
• Train on cleaning schedules.
• Prepare books for year-end tax returns.
• Create and implement accounting processes and best practices.
