Job summary

Camping World is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. The role involves reviewing deal paperwork for accuracy and coordinating with the Accounting hub to ensure payroll and timekeeping data are correct prior to processing.

Responsibilities include data verification, resolving discrepancies with dealership personnel, and processing checks and invoices. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be diligent, organized and extremely detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Intermediate computer knowledge with MS Office including Excel; accuracy with the 10-key pad and typing skills.
• Self-motivated; able to prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
• Knowledge of auto dealership accounting systems (IDS, ADP, Reynolds & Reynolds) would be helpful but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and demands.
• May lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Review deal paperwork for thoroughness and accuracy before sending to Accounting hub.
• Verify key data between deal paperwork and system.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to resolve discrepancies.
• Sort daily mail.
• Obtain General Manager approval on invoices prior to processing.
• Act as liaison between dealership and Accounting hub to ensure payroll/timekeeping accuracy before payroll.
• Scan daily check deposits and occasional trips to bank with cash deposits.
• Ensure all payment information is recorded accurately by department personnel.
