Job summary

Lithia & Driveway in Troy, MI seeks an on-site Dealership Accountant I to support daily deposits, reconciliations, and revenue recognition. Reporting to the Business Manager, you’ll collaborate with store teams and our Accounting Processing Center in a full-time, Monday–Friday role.

Requirements include 1+ year dealership exposure or car-deal experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old.
• Preference for 1+ years in a dealership environment or familiarity with car deals.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule.
• Review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center.
• Maintain notes on missing or incorrect items and support compliance tracking.
• Work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition.
• Help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager.
• Learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting responsibilities when needed.
