A leading company in the automotive sector seeks a Dealer Development Assistant Manager to drive initiatives in event planning and strategic communications. This hybrid role involves managing dealer engagement, budget oversight, and project management while working closely with cross-functional teams. This role is categorized as HYBRID. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Warren - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum.This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
The Dealer Development team is dedicated to protecting and optimizing GM’s dealer network to drive increased sales and market share. We are committed to supporting individuals historically excluded from the dealer ecosystem by offering targeted opportunities, formal mentorship, and structured training. Our ultimate goal is to increase dealer throughput and profitability across our network.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dealer Development Assistant Manager to lead high-impact initiatives in event planning, strategic communications, and financial project management, with a focus on dealer initiatives and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the automotive industry or a related field, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of executing team communications, major conferences, partnership engagement, and budget oversight with precision. This is a multifaceted, tactical role that requires strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and the capability to strategically influence cross-functional teams.
