Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Dealer Auditor for their Auburn Hills, MI location.
Responsibilities:
- The Dealer Auditor will support the Dealer Audit organization in planning, executing, and reporting audit results related to dealership commercial activities. Audits primarily ensure dealership reimbursements for activities like Sales Incentives are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
- Prepare and communicate audit-related information, such as notification letters and detailed audit reports. Maintain audit tools and oversee the company's commercial policies and programs. Perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of sales, finance, and controlling is essential.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in auditing, finance/accounting, compliance, project management, quality assurance, or related automotive roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (O365 / Online Collaboration).
- Understanding of the franchised dealership model.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of risk management, control objectives, and both automated and manual controls.
- Prior audit experience (financial, compliance, operational, or dealership/franchise).
- Experience with automotive OEM dealership management systems.
- Experience with digital and automated processes, including remote auditing, claims processing, and optical recognition software.
- Experience in researching, implementing, or drafting technical requirements and policies.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and responsibilities.
- Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or PMP are preferred.
- Advanced degree in relevant fields is a plus.
- Previous dealer/automotive experience is desirable.
