The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive professional to support investment bankers and help coordinate the day-to-day activity associated with active M&A engagements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, manages details carefully, communicates well, and can effectively balance competing priorities.
Support investment bankers throughout the M&A transaction process.
Prepare, format, update, and distribute presentations, documents, and other client materials.
Research companies, industries, transactions, and market developments using internal systems and external resources.
Organize and maintain deal-related information and tracking tools, including Excel and the firm's CRM.
Attend meetings, record key takeaways, and follow up on outstanding action items.
Manage calendars and coordinate meetings for multiple bankers, including resolving scheduling conflicts.
Arrange domestic and international travel and assist with expense reporting.
Draft and format professional correspondence and other communications.
Coordinate meeting logistics, including conference rooms, catering, technology, and audiovisual needs.
Serve as a central point of contact for the banking team and coordinate with colleagues across the firm.
Work closely with other support professionals to ensure consistent coverage and timely completion of team needs.
Handle confidential client and firm information with professionalism and discretion.
Anticipate the needs of bankers and take initiative to address tasks before they become issues.
Adapt quickly as priorities and transaction timelines change.
Bachelor's degree required.
At least 1 year of experience in a professional, fast-paced environment; financial or professional services experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to create polished, client-ready presentations and documents.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Willingness to learn the M&A process and work collaboratively with a team.
This is a full-time, in-office position. The role requires regular in-person collaboration with deal teams and may occasionally require flexibility outside normal business hours, including limited after-hours email responsiveness.
