Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time contract near Downingtown, PA. The role provides specialized instruction to Pre-K through 12th-grade students at multiple campuses from December 2026 through June 2027.

You will deliver direct instruction, develop IEPs, and collaborate with school teams to foster inclusive and accessible classrooms while supporting students’ academic and social development across roughly 12 locations.

Qualifications

• DHH K-12 licensure is required.
• Experience with deaf and hard of hearing students across multiple grade levels is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with families and educational staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction and support services for deaf or hard of hearing students.
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned with each student’s strengths and needs.
• Partner with general education teachers to create accessible classrooms.
• Advocate for students and educate families and staff on hearing-related strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed.
