Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates communication between D/HH students and teachers, staff and peers in the student’s preferred mode(s).
  • Previews classrooms and materials to ensure access to visual and auditory information.
  • Collaborates with D/HH teacher and staff to support student needs and IEP goals.
  • Assists in monitoring amplification and IEP progress as appropriate and documents concerns.
  • Supports gradual student independence in education and communicative competence.
