Job summary

Veolia is seeking a safety‑minded team member to witness DEA regulated waste at customer sites and assist CDL drivers. You will document destruction videos and help with daily loads, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements include English proficiency, ability to lift 75 lbs, and passing DOT/DEA checks. This role involves up to 4 overnight travels per week and on-site customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to wear company-provided PPE as required.
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
• Experience with hazardous materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a witness at customer locations for DEA regulated waste.
• Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with stops.
• Video destruction of DEA controlled substances and upload to system.
• Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops.
• Maintain inventory and storage of hazardous materials per regulations.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and complete paperwork accurately.
• Regularly contact external customers and staff at various levels.
