Job summary

Veolia is seeking a field team member to assist a CDL driver with onsite segregation of waste and packaging, and to video and witness the destruction of DEA controls. This role requires up to 75% overnight travel and involves loading containers for daily stops, maintaining safety, and documenting activities.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, OSHA knowledge, and experience with Windows programs. A forklift is a plus, and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Witness DEA controlled substance destruction at customer sites.
  • Ride with CDL Driver to assist with stops and duties.
  • Video destruction process and upload to employer system.

  • Load containers and supplies for daily stops.
  • Assist with inventory and storage of hazardous materials as needed.
  • Follow Health & Safety procedures and complete paperwork legibly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Maintain daily contact with customers and various personnel.

This role will Assist driver with onsite segregation of waste and packaging and videotaping and destruction of DEA Controls.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved.
  • Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops.
  • Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system.
  • Requires up to 75% overnight travel based on routes
  • Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops
  • May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.
  • Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis.
  • Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste.
  • Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One or more years related experience preferred.
  • KnowledgeOSHA Regulations.
  • Proficiencywith Windows based programs (i.e. Excel and Word).
  • Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift.
