Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association - Orange County Chapter seeks a Community Engagement Manager, DE&I, to lead and grow a grassroots volunteer network across diverse communities. You will recruit, coach, and mobilize volunteers, activate partnerships, and drive data-informed community impact plans to advance awareness, education and support.

Based in Purchase, NY, this grant-funded, full-time role requires travel up to 60% and collaboration across fundraising, advocacy and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods and manage a balanced, volunteer-led Portfolio with measurable growth.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to host programs and secure partnerships.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with revenue, advocacy, leadership and others to identify awareness opportunities.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance and manage budgets, grants, and timelines.
