Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association - Orange County Chapter in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Community Engagement Coordinator to mobilize volunteers and expand education and support for families affected by dementia. You will recruit, coach and manage volunteers, activate community partners, and deliver program offerings across markets, with emphasis on underrepresented communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Three years of experience in program delivery or volunteer management.
• Experience in community health and mobilization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals in select markets.
• Activate and support volunteers in select markets using Association methods and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships with underrepresented groups to host programs.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to expand awareness opportunities and volunteer engagement.
• Travel, including evenings and weekend work required.
