Job Description

Under general supervision employee performs routine deburring and miscellaneous machine shop duties requiring little job knowledge, skill or discretion in selecting work methods.

Key Responsibilities

Performs regular factory work such as deburring, parts cleaning, and honing. Deburrs parts using vibration and tumbler deburring equipment. Could require operating a bandsaw. Performs regular manual tasks. Ensures that output normally equals or exceeds that expected. Keeps quality up to acceptable standards with little discrepant work. Performs tasks equal to or exceeding established standards. Accomplishes production quotas. Working consistently, working overtime, and traveling as required. Conducts himself/herself in a business-like and civil manner. Ability to react to change productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.

Skills And Requirements

Must qualify as a “U.S. Person” under 22 C.F.R.

  • 120.15 (ITAR). Verification required prior to employment.
  • Ability to acquire proficient knowledge of deburring methods.
  • Adequate manual dexterity to safely and proficiently remover burrs from parts utilizing vibrating and tumbling deburring equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to work with a number sequence.
  • Ability to work well with only a modest amount of repeated instructions.
  • Be team oriented and possess flexibility and adaptability
