Description and Responsibilities

Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual challenges referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Our mission is to provide safe, nurturing homes that meet individuals' personal needs and preferences. Our staff ensures individuals have the support and skills to lead successful, satisfying lives in the community.

Salary

USD $20.00/Hr.

Role Overview

The Residential Counselor helps individuals with Developmental Disabilities live as independently as possible by providing evidence-based treatment and care in a group setting. They support daily activities, advocate for individuals, and promote community integration to foster healthy, productive, and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
  • Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness of individuals and the physical site.
  • Assist with transportation needs.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
