Job summary

Buckeye Fire Equipment Co. is seeking a full-time cylinder extrusion press operator in Kings Mountain, NC. You will load metal plates, operate presses, and unload cylinders, performing dimensional and visual inspections to ensure quality. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift 35 lbs, wear PPE, and maintain a safe work environment.

A weekly attendance bonus adds $1 per hour worked on top of the hourly wage. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Operates cylinder extrusion presses, loading metal plates and unloading cylinders produced.
• Performs dimensional and visual inspection of cylinders.
• Tracks hourly production, makes calculations, and records results.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Full-time employees are eligible for a weekly attendance bonus!
