Job summary

Ben Aris LLC in Houston, Texas seeks a Control Systems professional to support continuous HDPE production and related fluids. You will maintain and optimize DCS/SIS, analyze alarm data, and implement PLC logic and graphics with engineering input.

Responsibilities include hardware/software maintenance, plant networking, and guiding field technicians to resolve issues, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale process control systems (DCS/SIS).
• Ability to diagnose data-flow issues and maintain system integrity.
• Experience implementing graphics, logic blocks, scripting, trends, and alarms.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/Server 2016 and SAP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implements, and maintains process control systems and advanced control technology.
• Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to understand impacts on DCS/SIS.
• Design and implement small projects with input from engineering (graphics, logic, scripting).
• Monitor and optimize the operator HMI and respond to alarm trends.
• Maintain DCS/SIS/PLC hardware and software and perform updates online.
