Job summary
Emerson is seeking a Proposal Engineer for Power Projects at our Cranberry Township, PA office. You will develop DCS-based proposal solutions and collaborate with regional engineering teams to deliver complete retrofit proposals for Power Projects in North America.
Minimum 2 years of related experience is required, with a BS in a STEM field. Travel up to 10% and work authorization in the United States are required; sponsorship is not provided.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Electronic/Electrical/Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop clear, accurate DCS technical proposals based on customer needs, requirements, and specifications.
- Work effectively with the Regional/Project Engineering teams to develop complete solutions utilizing Emerson products and services.
- Coordinate and participate in customer meetings to clearly define scope, promote Emerson’s capabilities and expertise, and present offered solutions.
- Collaborate with other Emerson departments to drive solutions and provide support.
- Review customer orders, determine if the scope accurately reflects the offers, and prepare for order entry.
