Job summary
HF Sinclair is seeking a Distributed Controls Systems Monitoring Specialist to lead DCS migration projects across multiple HF Sinclair sites. You will design, implement, and support migration activities, coordinating with regional teams and contractors to ensure secure, reliable, and standardized automation across the enterprise.
The role requires deep experience with DCS platforms (Honeywell, Siemens, Foxboro, Experion PKS), strong troubleshooting skills, and travel up to 40% to support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent industrial experience.
- 5+ years in industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience leading DCS migration or modernization projects.
- Experience with multiple DCS platforms and vendor apps.
Responsibilities
- Lead DCS migration projects through all phases: planning, design, implementation, commissioning, startup.
- Perform system assessments, define scopes, schedules, resources, risks.
- Review integrator deliverables and oversee migration packages.
- Coordinate with vendors and engineering firms for deployment and testing.
- Ensure cybersecurity compliance and adherence to HF Sinclair standards.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to site personnel.
