Job summary

Tampa Electric Company (TECO Energy) seeks an experienced DCS Engineer to coordinate and maintain the station's DCS hardware/software, ensure reliability, perform backups, and implement new logic. You will work with IT on cyber security, support equipment modifications, and help maintain plant communications and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in process plant controls, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to lead technical projects with contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of controls experience in a process plant environment.
• Experience developing, changing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DCS logic.
• Knowledge of 3rd party software applications and plant control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot DCS/ESD systems and related hardware.
• Implement/modify plant communications for Cyber Security plans.
• Provide technical support and training to operations staff.
