Jobot is seeking a DCS Programmer / Automation Engineer to support, maintain, and modernize distributed control systems in large-scale industrial environments. This hands-on, customer-facing role focuses on mission-critical production systems where reliability and uptime are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and supporting DCS platforms in an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of process control, instrumentation, and automation principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot control systems in production-critical settings.
• Comfort working directly with customers in operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, and support DCS-based control systems in live production environments.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning.
• Work with operators, engineers, and maintenance teams to diagnose issues and implement improvements.
• Support control logic changes, HMI updates, alarm management, and system documentation.
• Participate in startup, testing, and validation activities for new and existing systems.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support projects and service engagements.
