Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial is hiring an Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of owner-furnished equipment and related logistics for construction projects across US sites. You will oversee procurement, manufacturing, and delivery status, proactively address bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions to maintain schedule continuity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering and 3–7 years in procurement plus 3–10 years in expediting, with QA/QC and FAT coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• 3-7 years of progressive procurement experience in project-based construction environments.
• 3–10 years of expediting experience in industrial or project-driven settings.
• Experience with electrical/mechanical equipment manufacturing.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and FAT coordination.
• Experience working with suppliers and multidiscipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on‑time manufacturing, inspection, shipment, and delivery of owner furnished equipment.
• Maintain accurate expediting status.
• Identify delivery risks and initiate recovery actions.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Manage the OFCI delivery process from purchase order creation to final delivery, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor production schedules against baseline.
• Review progress reports and escalations.
• Track deviations, NCRs, punch‑list items.
• Coordinate FATs and inspections, ensure timely submission of inspection notifications.
• Maintain updated expediting logs, prepare weekly status reports.
• Work with Project Controls and Site Team to validate milestones and manage delivery expectations.

We have multiple openings at multiple levels of experience.

This position requires presence in the construction sites; candidates are to be open to domestic relocation based on project schedules & locations. Qualified candidates anywhere in the US will be considered. Relocation assistance is available to Shreveport and or construction sites as required.

The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of electrical and/or mechanical owner-furnished equipment, materials, and related logistics to site teams. This role provides end-to-end visibility into procurement, manufacturing, and delivery status, proactively identifies potential bottlenecks, and drives corrective actions to ensure schedule adherence and project continuity.

Roles and Responsibilities:
