General Qualifications / Skills

• Clear understanding of industry best installation practices related to fiber/copper structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and documentation.
• Knowledge of hardware components regarding network, storage, security and carrier circuit equipment.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in a data center, NOC or similar critical systems environments.
• Ability to monitor and control daily service ticket activity, prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with managing information in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Excel, Outlook, Visio, Google Sheets, Chat, Docs, etc.).
• Above average communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge and experience with critical facilities systems/topology (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, and Controls).
• Ability to work completely independently, while at times delegating tasks to other individuals.
