Job summary

RTX is seeking a system administrator, software engineer, or IT specialist for AF DCGS/GMATS sustainment at Langley AFB, VA. The role covers 24x7 mission support across Linux and Windows, with emphasis on GEOINT workflows and evolving virtualization/cloud technologies.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI clearance and a DoD 8570 certification, plus extensive DCGS experience. The team operates rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet critical mission demands.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• Current Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification.
• 8 years of experience in computer system administration, including some DCGS experience.
• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 mission support of Full Motion Video, U-2, and Global Hawk operations.
• Monitor sensor ground health and status; resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot system issues and assist with incident reporting.
• Participate in integration activities with customer, Raytheon in-plant engineering, and OEMs when new capabilities are fielded.
• Collaborate with local team and customer to meet requirements and maintain operations.
