Job summary

MANTECH in Linthicum Heights, MD seeks a DC3 Account Lead to own end-to-end account health across growth, delivery, and resources. You will be the primary face of MANTECH to the client and drive strategic outcomes.

You will define account strategy, manage senior client relationships, oversee contractor activities, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. Strong PMP, federal contracting experience, and Agile leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 15+ years in IT project management or systems engineering.
• Active PMP certification and extensive program management experience.
• Experience overseeing multi-discipline IT projects with cross-functional teams.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented DC3 Account Lead to join our team in Linthicum Heights, MD.

As the DC3 Account Lead, you will serve as the single owner of the account, accountable for end-to-end account health, strategy, and outcomes across growth, delivery, and resource management. You will act as the primary face of the company to the client and manage senior client relationships while driving operational excellence and business expansion.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Define and own the integrated account strategy aligned to sector and enterprise priorities and performance outcomes.
• Serve as the primary contract representative for DCISE program leadership.
• Provide overall management and oversight of activities performed by contractor personnel, to satisfy all requirements identified in the PWS.
• Maintain full accountability for the quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance of all contractor activities.
• Lead senior client relationships and serve as the primary point of coordination across the account.
• Develop detailed project plans, managing timelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results within scope and budget.
• Manage all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects involving multiple disciplines within the IT function.
• Monitor program performance data to maintain schedule and budget adherence
• Ensure disciplined execution against account plans and priorities while evaluating account health and intervening when outcomes are at risk
• Own account-level performance management, escalation, risk mitigation, and course correction
• Employ scrum master techniques in Agile development practices to optimize senior-level delivery and program execution
• Make tradeoff decisions across growth, delivery, margin, and investment at the account level
• Drive accountability for account-level revenue, margin, and recompete outcomes
• Serve as the final point of alignment and escalation for account-level decisions
• Act as the single point of accountability for account outcomes while ensuring Program Managers and portfolio leaders retain delivery responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT project management or systems engineering
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing a project or program of similar size and complexity to this PWS.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience overseeing and determining manpower requirements for projects similar in size and complexity, consisting of a diversity of technical skill sets and labor categories.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing financial and performance monitoring of contracts, including performance metrics.
• Demonstrated authority to make decisions for the organization and proactively address potential contractual or resource limitations with the Government.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience navigating complex federal government contracting environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively interface across multi-disciplinary technical teams.
• Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements to maximize operational efficiency.

Clearance Requirements

• Must have a current/active Tops Secret Clearance w/SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
