Job summary

Ferguson is hiring 1st Shift Warehouse Associates at our Fort Payne, AL distribution center. You will pick, sort, stage, store and transport product to designated locations, using RF scanners and related systems to maintain accuracy.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with starting pay of $19.50 per hour, plus benefits including health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and PTO. Comfortable for those with warehouse experience seeking dependable, safety-focused work.

Qualifications

• Overtime availability required.
• Prior warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with RF scanners or willingness to learn.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations.
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, and/or labor management systems.
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following SOPs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper PPE when required.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Ferguson is currently seeking 1st Shift Warehouse Associates for our Fort Payne, AL distribution center. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience who take pride in safe, accurate, and dependable work.

1st Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs , standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)
• Experience with, or readiness to learn, warehouse technology such as RF scanners
• Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $34.66

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
