Job summary

Ferguson in Fort Payne, AL is seeking 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates to join our Fort Payne distribution center. This role focuses on safe, accurate, and dependable work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will pick, stage, and move inventory using RF scanners, with overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations
• Use RF scanners or labor management systems for daily tasks
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets to maintain inventory integrity
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety following SOPs
• Communicate effectively with team and support a team-oriented environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and participate in housekeeping
• Adhere to safety requirements and PPE when required
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvements
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs

Ferguson is currently seeking 2nd Shift Warehouse Associates for our Fort Payne, AL distribution center. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience who take pride in safe, accurate, and dependable work.

_ Schedule _

2nd Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM

• Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour

_ Qualifications _

• Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs , standing/walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)
• Experience with, or readiness to learn, warehouse technology such as RF scanners
• Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements

_ Responsibilities _

• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following all established standard operating procedures for assigned task areas

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE when required
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $30.15

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
