Description

Emser Tile LLC, a nationwide industry leader in the distribution of high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate 3 (Picker) for our local Distribution Center. With over 50 years of growth, this position offers immediate opportunities for professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking all line orders and staging them for shipping

Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)

• Picking products and building pallets to standards
• Staging products on the shipping dock according to schedule
• Using RF scanners for accuracy
• Matching shade numbers via label verification
• Creating new license plates and placing them on pallets
• Using and submitting breakage sheets daily
• Reading item labels and identifying products
• Navigating the warehouse effectively
• Learning and promoting Emser Tile culture and values
• Thriving in a busy, organized, goal-oriented environment
• Being results-driven and customer-focused
• Knowledge of database and query functions
• Responding to non-verbal communication accurately
• Exhibiting leadership skills including critical thinking and decision-making
• Building trust through influence, relationship-building, and communication
• Performing basic math functions (piece to square foot calculations)
• Effective communication at all organizational levels
• 1-3 years of experience in a picking role
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a distribution center environment (cold/hot)
• Ability to work in loud environments
• Ability to lift up to 100+ pounds

• Long periods of computer use
