Description

Emser Tile LLC, a nationwide industry leader in the distribution of high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate 3 (Picker). With over 50 years of growth, this position is based at our local Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking all line orders and staging them for shipping

Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)

• Picking product and building pallets to standard
• Staging product on shipping dock according to schedule
• Using RF Scanner for accuracy
• Matching shade numbers via label verification
• Creating and placing license plates on pallets
• Using breakage sheets daily
• Reading item labels and identifying products
• Navigating the warehouse effectively
• Learning and promoting Emser Tile culture and values
• Thriving in a busy, organized, goal-oriented environment
• Being results-driven and customer-focused
• Knowledge of database and query functions
• Responding to non-verbal communication
• Exhibiting leadership skills including critical thinking and decision making
• Building trust through influence and communication
• Performing basic math calculations
• Communicating effectively at all levels
• Having 1-3 years of experience in a picking role
• Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Working in a distribution environment with temperature variations
• Lifting weights over 100 pounds
• Seeing, hearing, using hands and arms
• Working on a computer for extended periods
• Bending and kneeling
• Forklift certification required

Additional Requirements

• Regular, predictable attendance
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed
