Description

Emser Tile LLC, a nationwide leader in the distribution of high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate 3 (Picker) for our local Distribution Center. With over 50 years of growth, we offer immediate opportunities for professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking all line orders and staging them for shipping

Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)

• Picking product and building pallets to standard
• Staging product on shipping dock according to schedule
• Using RF Scanner for accuracy
• Matching shade numbers via label verification
• Creating new license plates and placing on pallets
• Utilizing and submitting breakage sheets daily
• Reading item labels and identifying products
• Navigating the warehouse efficiently
• Learning and promoting Emser Tile culture and values
• Thriving in a busy, organized, goal-oriented environment
• Being results-driven and customer-focused
• Knowledge of database/query functions
• Responding to non-verbal cues accurately
• Exhibiting leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Building trust through influence and communication
• Performing basic math functions
• Communicating effectively at all levels
• 1-3 years of picking experience
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Working in a distribution environment (cold/hot)
• Handling loud environments
• Lifting 100+ pounds
• Seeing, hearing, using hands/arms
• Prolonged computer use
• Bending and kneeling
• Forklift certification required

Additional Requirements

• Regular attendance
• Pre-determined work schedule, with possible overtime
• Other tasks as assigned
