Position: Truck Driver

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Commercial Class A CDL driver's license.
• Ability to travel independently and follow instructions in various formats.
• Ability to handle problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
• Strong customer service skills to make customers feel welcome and valued.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operation manuals.
• Effective communication skills for presentations and report writing.
• Meet all Federal Department of Transportation physical requirements.
• Familiarity with trucking terminology and processes.
• Ability to back 53' trailers safely and operate equipment like tractors, refrigeration units, dollies, and pallet jacks.
• At least 1 year of active driving experience, including doubles experience or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

• One year of tractor/trailer driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to deliver goods to stores and customers, adhering to safety standards.
• Inspect trucks before, during, and after trips, and report conditions.
• Check refrigeration trailers for malfunctions.
• Weigh loads and unload merchandise at stores.
• Pick up goods at vendor locations and verify products and quantities.
• Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations related to load and delivery.
