Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a DC Team Leader to oversee daily operations at the Albert Lea Distribution Center, coordinating a designated team to ensure accurate processing of goods and meeting operational goals.

You will supervise, train, and motivate associates, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and maintain safety and quality standards across shipments and inventory. Strong leadership and WMS/MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse.
• 1+ year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a distribution warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of distribution center associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Allocate tasks and prioritize work assignments to optimize efficiency and meet production targets.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and team activities.
• Collaborate with other team leaders and management to streamline processes and improve overall DC operations.
• Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and physical inventory.
• Communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, and other departments.
