Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a DC Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations in the Denver area. You will manage daily schedules, coordinate shipping and receiving, ensure equipment maintenance, and enforce safety rules to keep a safe, efficient distribution center.

The role requires 1–3 years of warehouse experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and preferably bilingual abilities. Strong leadership and record-keeping are essential to drive accuracy and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
  • Experience with material handling, inventory tracking, and directing teammates.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience; bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily work schedules of warehouse staff handling shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, picking and palletizing.
  • Determines space requirements and schedules delivery/distribution to meet objectives.
  • Ensures equipment and vehicles are maintained and safety rules are enforced.
  • Monitors attendance, productivity, and performance; provides counseling as needed.
  • Coordinates with warehouse/operations managers on shipments and cut-off times.
  • Maintains records and reports such as lost sales and production data.
  • Recommends procedural changes to improve unit efficiency.

Job DescriptionDC Supervisor Job Duties include, but are not limited to:-Supervises the daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in performing a combination of: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking and palletizing finished products.-Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to achieve distribution objectives and meet customer requirements and certify that all store material is organized and clearly identified.-Ensures maintenance of equipment, including company vehicles, in compliance with city, state, and federal laws, and ensures a safe, clean environment with the ability to enforce all company work and safety rules, including the proper handling and recording of all hazardous materials.-Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provides counseling to employees, as required.-Coordinates work with warehouse and operations manager, telephone sales and other supervisors concerning shipments being shipped in accordance with designated cut-off times, merchandise shortages, etc.-Maintains various records and reports, such as lost sales, error report, and production report.-Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the unit.Required Experience:-1 to 3 years prior work experience in a warehouse related field.-Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution center including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to other teammates.Education:-Associate Degree, or equivalent experience.-Bi-Lingual skills preferred, but not required.\" Application Close Date: Advance Auto Parts will accept applications for 60 days from the Application Open Date\" We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
