Job summary

Runnings is seeking full-time 2nd shift Distribution Center Splitters/Pickers at the Marshall DC location. You will scan items, label products, and prepare shipments to multiple retail locations.

The role requires operating forklifts and packing equipment, with 4 days per week from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, plus occasional overtime during peak times. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and previous DC/warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Scan merchandise into inventory using scanners.
• Print and attach price tags to merchandise.
• Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to stores.
• Allocate quantities accurately and prepare packing slips.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Load and palletize goods for shipment and maintain bin inventories.
• Maintain safe work habits and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Complete daily pick orders for stores and document discrepancies.

Job description

We have the need to hire full-time 2nd shift Distribution Center Splitters and/or Pickers for our Marshall DC location. Splitters/Pickers are responsible to receive and prepare product for shipment to the retail locations. . This position will be scheduled work hours generally between3:00 P.M. and 1:0 A.M. - 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday). Occasional hours may be required on Friday and/or Saturday during peak times.

Pay Range: $17.00-$19.00 depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
2. Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
3. Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
4. Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
5. Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
6. Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed.
7. Load merchandise onto proper pellet, shrink wrap when necessary.
8. Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits
9. Put merchandise away into proper bin locations.
10. Complete daily pick orders for all stores.
11. Rotate stock in bins; first in – first out.
12. Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
13. Operate fork-lifts, reach trucks, and/or pick machines.
14. Manage bin inventories and notify manager of discrepancies.
15. Routine daily maintenance of lift trucks.
