Runnings is hiring Distribution Center Loaders in the United States, Idaho area. The role involves loading and unloading trailers (including flatbeds) with scheduled hours from 3:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.M., four days per week (Mon–Thu).

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with occasional Friday/Saturday peaks during busy times. Responsibilities include maintaining trailer weight distribution, scanning items, printing price tags, and preparing shipments for retail.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Prior Forklift experience required.
  • 1 year prior shipping and receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load & unload trailers, including flatbeds.
  • Maintain proper trailer weight distribution and maximize space.
  • Perform piece counts to verify accuracy.
  • Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
  • Scan product and pallets to truck IDs in an accurate manner.
  • Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
  • Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
  • Assist with floor loaded shipments, both inbound and outbound.
  • Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
  • Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
  • Cross check quantities to packing slips and make notes when needed.
  • Load merchandise onto proper pallets and shrink wrap when necessary.
  • Properly secure shipments to prevent damage and ensure safety.

Job description

Distribution Center Loaders are responsible for efficiently loading and unloading products into and from dry van trailers including flatbeds. This position will be scheduled work hours generally between3:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. - 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday). Occasional hours may be required on Friday and/or Saturday during peak times.
Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Loading & unloading of trailers, including flatbeds
  2. Maintain proper trailer weight distribution while maximizing trailer cubes/space
  3. Perform piece counts to verify accuracy
  4. Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
  5. Scan product and pallets to truck Id’s in an accurate manner.
  6. Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
  7. Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
  8. Assist with floor loaded shipments, both inbound and outbound.
  9. Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
  10. Submit packing slips and freight bills as necessary.
  11. Cross check quantities to packing slip, making necessary notations when needed.
  12. Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary.
  13. Properly secure shipments to prevent product and trailer damage.
  14. Practice safety in the workplace by using safe work habits with a safety-first mindset.
OTHER DUTIES
  1. Other duties as assigned for facility operation and deadline needs.
  2. May require travel to assist in other facilities or training.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. Computer skills required.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
  1. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
