Job summary

Rio Grande in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a DC Shipping Specialist to join a fast-paced warehouse team. You will safely pack and ship customer orders, including small and large items and those with hazardous materials, while ensuring processes meet service standards and quality controls.

The role requires problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and basic computer skills. A background in forklift operation and RF scanners is beneficial, and the position offers a comprehensive benefits

  • 1 year of warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
  • Self-motivation and superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent research, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Basic computer skills and Outlook for email.
  • Ability to master operation of forklifts, pallet jacks.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Open to constructive feedback and discussion aimed at learning and improving.

Schedule/Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, M-F
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and sit/stand for long periods of time
