Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Flemington, NJ, is seeking an Asst Shipping Manager-DC to lead loading/unloading, paperwork and power equipment operation in a fast-paced distribution center. This non-exempt, hourly role requires manual labor and adherence to safety procedures.

You will work with a team to ensure accurate manifests, stock accuracy, and efficient outbound shipments, while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with WMS instructions and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year similar experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as ti x hi, total cases per pallets and units per case.
• Computer literate.
• Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.
• Can use the general functions of a warehouse management system.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks and verify contents per manifest.
• Process outbound paperwork and operate power equipment.
• Audit stock and ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the area.
• Assist in picking and processing orders as needed.
• Maintain and report malfunctions of equipment.
• Communicate stock levels to Inventory Controller.
• Follow Warehouse Management System instructions.
• Support distribution center cleanliness and operations.
