Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. seeks a DC-based Shift Supervisor to lead security operations in a high-demand environment. The role oversees Security Officers, enforces access procedures and patrol routes, and coordinates with law enforcement as required.

The position emphasizes discipline, safety, and compliance across shifts. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in physical security, a minimum of five years in related fields, and demonstrated supervisory capability.

Qualifications

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must pass a physical fitness test.
• Possess a Metropolitan Police Department SOMB Armed SPO License or equivalent.
• Certification for expandable baton use.
• MMPI-2 or equivalent psychological assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and act as the lead on site.
• Control access, escort armed officers when required, and enforce post orders.
• Direct traffic and manage building security procedures as directed by the COR.
• Prepare detailed daily reports on incidents, thefts, and emergencies for submission to the COR.
• Observe occupants and visitors for compliance with posted rules and regulations.
