Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Attendant to help maintain loss prevention, safety, and facility security within our distribution center. The role monitors entry/exit points, operates metal detector equipment, enforces procedures, and reports unusual activity to management.

You'll work as part of a team dedicated to safe, compliant operations, greet visitors, and support daily security tasks while following O'Reilly standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to monitor entry/exit and enforce security procedures.
• Capable of addressing loss prevention concerns in a professional manner.
• Strong teamwork and ability to follow detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit activity for workers, visitors, and vendors.
• Administer metal detector procedures per policy.
• Monitor metal detector activity during shifts and breaks.
• Report unusual activity to management when needed.
• Greet visitors and provide basic directions or assistance.
• Maintain safety standards while operating equipment and identify unsafe conditions.
• Follow procedures to support operational compliance with O’Reilly standards.
• Communicate concerns to DC leadership as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
